3. Establishment of Foreign Affairs Studies Foundation Development Committee: (1) A committee named Foreign Affairs Studies Foundation Development Committee has been formed to give suggestions and advice to the Government of Nepal regarding making Nepal's foreign policy capable and effective.
(2) The committee under sub-section (1) shall consist of the following members:-
(a) Minister of Foreign Affairs or Minister of State – Chairman
(b) Chairman, Committee on International Relations and Human Rights, Legislature-Parliament-Member
(c) Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Member
(d) Two members appointed or nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the international jurists working in the governmental or non-governmental sector.
(e) One member nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the former Nepalese ambassadors
(f) Two members including one woman nominated by the Government of Nepal from among international relations, foreign affairs experts or university professors.
(g) One member nominated by the Government of Nepal to represent the industry and commercial sector
(h) One person nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the people of the tribal/Janwati, Madheshi, Dalit and minority communities who have obtained at least a master's degree in the relevant subject and worked in the field of international relations - Member
(i) Executive Director - Member Secretary
(3) The term of office of the nominated member according to sub-section (2) shall be two years at most and he/she may be nominated once again.
(4) In the event that the performance of the members from clauses (d) to (h) of sub-section (2) is not satisfactory, the Government of Nepal may remove such members. However, they will not be deprived of a reasonable opportunity to present their justification before being removed from office.
